Documentary photography usually refers to a popular form of photography used to chronicle both significant and historical events and everyday life. It is typically covered in professional photojournalism, or real life reportage, but it may also be an amateur, artistic, or academic pursuit. The photographer attempts to produce truthful, objective, and usually candid photography of a particular subject, most often pictures of people.
I have been making a plan to try and organise the household and how to put together an interesting and well set out portfolio.
I have planned a set for each child doing something they enjoy doing.
Damion with his motorbike,
Kyle with his Rugby League
Toko with his playstation,
Victoria just in pink and
Tamati he's the all rounder guy.
As for the house outside I liked the idea of the Autumn shot , the trampoline activities , and what ever other caos is going on and as well as just outside.
The pets , well to even get Angus to move has been an issue and as for the cat she does as she pleases.
Inside the house I have these ideas ...
Cooking time. i.e. actual cooking
Dinner time , breakfast time.
Bath time ,
Coming home from school
Sleeping arrangements
Sick children
And just day to day comings and goings and just in general stuff.
Separate night / day shots weather shots of course now we will have the rain which the kids love, puddles
